One small tool, done right

Picture in Picture does exactly one thing: it lifts the video you're watching out of its tab and floats it on top, so you can keep watching while you get on with everything else.

Why we made it

Watching a lecture while taking notes. Keeping an eye on a match while you work. Following a recipe with your hands busy. The browser could technically do this, but it was always buried, fiddly, or missing on half the sites you actually use. So we built a version that works the same way everywhere: press one button, and the video floats.

How we think about it

Most extensions grow until they're slow and full of settings nobody asked for. We'd rather keep this one sharp — fast, quiet, and focused on the single job it's good at. No account. No dashboard. No tracking. Just play a video and press Alt + P.

Fast and light

It stays out of the way and adds nothing to your page load. Install it and forget it's there — until you need it.

Private by default

Everything runs in your browser. We don't collect your browsing, your videos, or anything about you.

Focused

One job, done well. No feature bloat, no settings maze — just a video that floats when you want it to.

Say hello

Ideas, bug reports, or a site that won't cooperate? We read every message — hello@inpicture.net. And if the extension has earned it, a review genuinely helps other people find it.
